Doctor Serena Baldi' Dental Surgery has been up and running in the region and province of Florence since 1993.

Dr. Baldi graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Perugia in 1993 and worked at the Maxillofacial Department of the University Hospital of Careggi for 10 years. She has various Masters' degrees including:

• European Master in Orthodontics at EPGETGMS (Medical Dentistry Group)
• Masters in the pre-bone Tweed technique, Foundation for Orthodontic research in the United States (Arizona) and a Masters in "Damon System" from the University of Ferrara.

At her surgery, she deals with both children's and adults' orthodontics and dentistry, also treating pre and post surgical orthodontics for patients who have to undergo jaw reduction surgery. Dr. Baldi uses the most modern techniques suitable for each individual case. She carries out the following treatments: Interceptive Orthodontic Treatments for children, Orthodontics using removeable or fixed devices, either vestibular or lingual, Orthodontics using Invisalign treatments. She is trained in restorative treatment, gnathological treatment and craniomandibular disorder (CMD) treatments.

During her medical career, she decided to devote her time specifically to paediatric dentistry (formally Paedodontics).

Her young patients are at the heart of Dr. Baldi's business and there is an area of the practice entirely dedicated to them, from a colourful waiting room full of games, to a special dentist's chair in the shape of a dinosaur which is colourful and full of fun for her young patients.
